Wide Band Gap Workshop

The workshop will unravel fundamental challenges in WBG material synthesis and characterization that hinder rapid systems advancement.

Leading experts will identify fundamental research needs for power electronics switching applications and material synthesis/characterization, and modeling/testing for long-term reliability. 

There will be a poster session during the day and breakout sessions for input into a whitepaper.

Abstracts for contributed talks and posters are due July 28, 2014. Instructions for submitting abstracts and the registration form are available on the website, http://www.nanocenter.umd.edu/events/wbg/abstracts/ .

Discounted registration is available for students.
