Dr. Vannoy appointed one of six ASCE Governors

In their April 28, 2006 meeting, the ASCE Board of Directors approved the formation of ASCE Region 2. Effective immediately, Districts 4 and 5 will operate under Region 2. The ASCE Board of Directors has appointed Dr. Donald Vannoy, Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Maryland, as one of the six (6) Governors in Region 2 Board of Governors. Dr. Vannoy is appointed for a 3-year term commencing October 1, 2006, but as a transition Governor, he will be serving an additional five months through September 30, 2006. The first Board of Governors for the Region 2 is charged to set the path for the Region.
