Inaugural Project Management Symposium Agenda Announced

College Park, Md. – The University of Maryland’s Project Management Center for Excellence and the Silver Spring Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI) have unveiled the agenda for their joint First Annual Project Management Symposium.                                         

Taking place June 9-10, 2014, in the Stamp Student Union on the University of Maryland campus in College Park, Md., the symposium will feature six keynote presentations as well as more than 55 session speakers and one-of-a-kind networking events. Participants will hear from representatives of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Ron Taylor Group, the International Project Management Association, the Federal Highway Administration and countless other project management experts.

Each of the featured session breakouts will provide attendees with a chance to choose from presentations covering cutting-edge topics in government, human factors, corporate applications, risk management, sustainability, construction and performance management. Even more, this information-packed symposium will bring together project management professionals from academe, industry and government to explore and learn best practices for today’s dynamic project environments.
