Problem sets will be distributed in class. Solutions will
be available after class on the due date in the table below.
Exams
-
There will be three mid-terms and one cumulative final exam.
One mid-tern can be dropped and requests for make-up exams will be granted
only in extraordinary circumstances. An exam-reference
sheet will be made available for each examination otherwise they are
closed book and closed notes. Calculators may be used. After each exam,
solutions will be posted in the list below.
Laboratory Materials
-
Laboratories: The following table contains the laboratory
assignments. Laboratory 1 and 2 will be conducted individually weeks 2
and 3. Laboratories 3, 4, 5 and 6 will be conducted concurrently in groups
in alternate weeks. Laboratories 7 and 8 will be conducted at the environmental
engineering research laboratories.

The final score for the course will be computed as follows:
