Project II - Theoretical Example:
We are using digital line graph (DLG) data available from the U.S.G.S. GeoData web site to identify streams and ultimately stream sources. We are using this data to identify stream source areas and to examine the distribution of stream source areas. Our hypothesis is that the source area distribution is tied to the flood frequency behavior of the watershed.
